Cancellation Policy

When the guest decides to cancel:

If, for any reason, you decide to cancel your tour, you need inform us within the stated time limit. Also make sure to email us a copy of the cash receipt issued to you. The following cancellation charges will apply:

  • 45 days to 30 days prior to arrival - 25% of the service/tour cost
  • 30 days to 07 days prior to arrival - 33% of the service/tour cost
  • 07 days to 48 hours prior to arrival - 80% of the service/tour cost
  • Less than 48 hours or NO SHOW - 100% of the service/tour cost

As you can see above, Paperplane Holidays will calculate cancellation charges based on the gross cost of the tour, the date of cancellation and the date of arrival. Cancellation charges will also apply for the transportation arrangements you had made to arrive at the destination, depending on the cancellation policies of the concerned authority. Our company will not bear those cancellation charges.

Please note that cancellation charges are calculated, not on the discounted tour cost, but on the gross tour cost. For customised packages, cancellation charges will vary.

When the company decides to cancel:

Due to any unexpected issues or emergencies, the company may have to cancel your tour. If that does happen, then the guest will receive a full refund of the cash paid within 7 working days from the cancellation date. 

REFUND POLICY

For any kind of package alterations or tour cancellations which require us to refund cash, the guest will receive the refund by Cash / Account payee' cheque / Net Banking / Cash deposit / PayPal transfer (depending on the guest’s consent). If we had received foreign currency, then the refund will take into account the currency exchange rate at the time of refund. Please note that it might take 5 to 7 working days for the refund to be processed.

Under the following circumstances, a refund will not be applicable

  • When tour bookings are done for peak season
  • When the guest modifies services during the tour
  • When the guest cancels the tour because of changes in government policies
  • When natural disasters or riots cause the tour to be postponed indefinitely

Note: 1. In some cases, the guest may not use or he may miss on a particular service on the tour. No refund will be made for the unused service.

2 . Changing the dates of the tour is not allowed.          

PAYMENT POLICY

The entire package cost must be paid to confirm your reservation. You will find the cost of package on our website. But if we have discussed about a customised tour package, then we will send you the details about the package cost via email.

PAYMENT METHODS

Paperplane Holidays accepts all major Credit Cards, Net Banking and selected Cash Cards and Wallets. The payment is processed through online payment gateway systems which are of high reputation and therefore, secure. Our website also has stringent security measures in place. So please be assured that you’re credit card details, passwords and other personal details are completely safe.

When you place your order, the amount will be debited from your Credit Card/Debit Card. But if, for any reason, you are not able to complete the order, the money will be refunded.

You also have the option of online transfer or direct cash deposit to the Indian Bank Account of Experience Kerala Holiday Planners, our parent company. All payments are processed in any. If there are any transaction charges or current exchange charges, then the guests has to bear such expenses.
